I had to pause the pic-posting because of this.
I'm getting SEVERAL notes and messages of people that still want a request even if they already missed the journal's spots. They are guilt-tripping me, giving me 'sob stories', complaining about being an unfair system to get a request, and many other things that are making me feel bad.
Seriously, guys, I do the pics FOR FREE. I do these because I like drawing, and I enjoy doing the requests. The only things I'm asking for is PATIENCE and CONSIDERATION. I'm a Medic, and I already explained in the previous journal that my family will be kinda busy this month; I have a life outside of Deviant Art, and I can't spend every single hour drawing. That's why I came with the requests' limits and the journals.
If things keep going like this, then I'll stop taking requests for good, because it seems my drawings are making people unhappy when they can't get them, and that's the last thing I want. And this isn't coming from one or two people, but from SEVERAL ones. I know you guys want a drawing, and I'm happy that you like my stuff, but you have to stop being selfish, and realize that you're not the only people here in DA asking for a pic.

I keep explaining the rules over and over again even after I post them in pretty much every journal, and because of that they keep asking for requests in notes and messages, not wanting to follow the journals' rules. I'm sorry I have to be strict about this, but it's the only way I can do the requests and still have time to draw a few of my own ideas. I know it's harder to get the journal now because Eclipse has no alerts, but still try to make an effort and read the journal before commenting. Also, I will NOT TAKE JOURNAL REQUESTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. As I've explained several times already, I had been very delayed because of various issues, starting with the hurricane season in 2020, and then some family issues coming from my brother's divorce and my family supporting him, that has been affecting since December 2020. So I can't use my old idea of making a raffle for new request

I forgot that I meant to comment on your name. Ramiro was the name of some very early kings of Asturias, etc.,but it fell out of fashion before 1000 a.d. Sancho , Pedro, etc. became more desired. The royal lines of Spain & Portugal are so interwoven that they inspired me to call the whole she-bang "the Royal Family of Europe".
I burned out on genealogy and can recall the day when, at the tomes in the grand library in NYC, not having found the data I needed, just downed pen, and walked out, leaving my notes behind.
