October Bday - 3

The last card is dedicated to Aleksei Sytsevich, aka Alex O'Hirn, created by Stan Lee and John Romita Sr, for Marvel Comics, first appearing in 'The Amazing Spiderman' #41 (October 1966), and quickly becoming a classic enemy of the web-slinger, infamous for being both extremely physically powerful and a not-so-smart villain. 

The character debuted as a thug-for-hire, volunteering to participate in an experiment that bonded a super strong polymer to his skin and augmented his strength and resistance; this had been a common background for Alex in most of his incarnations on several media. Due to his physical capacities, he'd also become an occasional enemy for a certain Green Gamma Goliath, even if he'd always get back to New York to fight the Webhead, either by his own or as part of villainous team. At first, his suit was permanently bonded to his skin, until he managed to get it removed, and replaced it with a more powerful and removable version. Also, like many of Spidey's villains with a 'crime as a job' mentality, he's a moderately reasonable and civil guy when not 'working', even rethinking his criminal lifestyle more than once.

Alex has appeared in several media, including video games, cartoons, novels and film, always in Spidey-related productions, and he'll surely continue smashing through walls in other adaptations for many years to come.
