From 'Star vs The Forces of Evil', Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz find themselves some good mentors.

Star finds a man who, like her, is royalty from another planet/dimension, has a love for fighting, and owns a very powerful magical weapon. Plus, like her, she got forced to live on Earth to learn discipline and self-control.

Marco, on the other hand, finds a very skilled martial artist who often plays the voice of reason among his superpowered companions. Not to mention that Marco would also like to gain special abilities as well; in fact, he already got a superpowered 'hand' for a while, even if it didn't work that well.
