February's bday card 4

This month's last card goes for two gals who were created as female counterparts of very popular Marvel Comics heroes, but they'd soon get a place of their own, showing the world they're a lot more than estrogens-filled versions of Peter Parker and Bruce Banner.

In February 1977, debuting in Marvel Spotlight #32, Jessica Drew emerged as a very capable heroine who would do most of her career as a double agent. In most recent years, she got replaced by an alien invader, which made her a very uncomfortable companion among the heroic community, since she had the same face as the enemy that almost destroyed them all. Luckily, thanks to a certain Living Legend, aka Steve Rogers, Jessica found herself a place among Earth's Mightiest Heroes, showing that she shouldn't be underestimated.

In February 1980, making her debut in her very own comic book, Jennifer Walters made a savage first appearance, as she needed an emergency transfusion from her cousin; a certain gamma-irradiated scientist called Bruce Banner. Since then, Jen had been not just one of comic books' most powerful and sexy heroines, but also one with a great sense of humor (to the point she has a certain degree of knowledge of her own status as a comic book character), a social life that allowed her to be part of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Marvel's First Family in different points of her career, and one of the best lawyers in comic books; if she can't beat you up in a brawl, she`ll destroy you in court.
