It's based on 'Tyger, Tiger', an episode of 'Batman, The Animated Series', that introduced Tygrus, a genetically created feline-man. In the end, Tygrus is left alone in a deserted island; in the story, he eventually meets up with Cheetah, Wonder Woman's enemy, from the 'Justice League' series, who's a human-turned-feline creature.
