On April 19, 1987, as part of 'The Tracey Ulman's Show', Matt Groening got the chance to show the world his latest creation... and by doing it, he started a yellow fever, that spawned the longest-living sit-com ever, with a cast of dozens, and more guest stars than you can count... and the family that started it all, with the mentally-challenged, obese yet comically dumb father; obsessive-compulsive yet loving mother; never-growing, pacifier-sucking baby girl; genius vegetarian Buddhist civil-right defenders girl; and the hyperactive boy who's an underachiever and proud to be, they're still active and without signs of stopping any time soon.
So, Happy Birthday to Springfield's favorite family, or, to say it better...
"AY, CARAMBA!"
